RIU Hotels & Resorts continues to move forward with the Proudly Committed strategy after the circular economy plans in place at its hotels in the Balearic Islands have been certified by AENOR. The Riu Playa Park, Riu Concordia, Riu Bravo, Riu Festival and Riu San Francisco in Playa de Palma, as well as the Riu La Mola in Formentera, have received this certification.

Resident Hotels announces agreement with Marriott International to rebrand four of its midscale properties

Specialist hotel operating company, Resident Hotels, announced it has signed a franchise agreement with Marriott International to convert its four Sleeperz Hotels to the Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand. Following the purchase of a majority stake in Sleeperz Hotels by Mactaggart Family & Partners, the portfolio has been operated by Resident Hotels (also majority owned by the same family office) since November 2022.
