Leslie Bloznalis Ellis has been appointed as Director of Group and Catering Sales at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota, the area's premier 5-star resort and luxury landmark, is pleased to announce the appointment of Leslie Bloznalis Ellis as the property's Director of Group and Catering Sales. In her role, Bloznalis Ellis will spearhead sales for the hotel's group events, as well as oversee weddings, social events, and corporate catering gatherings.

Herlé-Xavier Carn has been appointed as Senior Vice President Group Safety and Security at Accor

Accor announces that Herlé-Xavier Carn has been appointed as Senior Vice President Safety and Security, following the departure of Christian Flaesch, who is leaving the Group after nearly 10 years leading the Safety and Security Department. Assuming the role on 01 October 2023, Herlé-Xavier will be responsible for crisis management and prevention initiatives across the Group, developing protective measures to ensure the ongoing safety of Accor employees and properties. In this capacity Herlé-Xavier will report directly to Steven Daines, Group Chief Talent & Culture Officer. Bringing more than 30 years of experience acquired at public and private institutions in France and abroad, Herlé-Xavier started his career working at the French Ministry of Defence and then started at the French embassies in Singapore and Thailand. Moving to the private sector Herlé-Xavier then spent 17 years with International SOS security group, a leading multinational company specializing in international health and safety risk management, where he held the roles of Vice President and EMEA Regional Security Director.This appointment demonstrates and reinforces Accor's ongoing commitment to the safety of employees, guests and assets across the company's wide reaching and international operations. Herlé-Xavier's background providing business resilience solutions to large global corporations positions the group well to respond to evolving threats and vulnerabilities, creating a secure environment for employees and management to deliver industry leading hospitality services and experiences.

Joseph Reaiche has been appointed as Reservations Manager at Daydream Island Resort and Living Reef

Joseph Reaiche joins as Reservations Manager after several years at Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park where he worked his way up the ranks to Duty Manager. He chose the role at Daydream Island because it provides the opportunity of working in a new environment while learning about the operations of an island-based resort.

Ariel Ying-Hsuan Wang has been appointed as Front Desk Manager at Holiday Inn & Suites Geelong, an IHG Hotel

Born in Taiwan and raised in Brazil, Wang transitioned from a decade in retail to hospitality and her journey includes front office roles at Skye Suites and Hyatt Regency in Sydney, focusing on tailored guest experiences. Her commitment and dedication led to Ms Wang's recognition as a finalist for Hotel Rising Star at the Tourism Accommodation Australia NSW Awards for Excellence in 2022.

Brittany Erigo has been promoted to Director of Catering at JW Marriott Tampa Water Street and Tampa Marriott Water Street

Following her success as Senior Catering Sales Executive, Brittany Erigo will now spearhead both properties' catering services and programs, from planning to execution. Her previous experience includes stints as Event Services Coordinator at Walt Disney World's Coronado Springs Resort, Convention Sales Coordinator at Visit Tampa Bay, Private Events Coordinator at The Tampa Club and Director of Convention & Corporate Sales at ZooTampa at Lowry Park.

Edoardo Buffin de Chosal has been appointed as Director of Rooms at The Lana, Dubai

A long-standing team member from Dorchester Collection, London, UK, Edoardo Buffin de Chosal joins the Dubai team from his most recent role as customer service manager, Global Contact Centre based in London. Walter De Leon has been hired as Director of Housekeeping at Pacifica Hotels' King Kamehameha Beach Resort in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Prior to his new role, he was Housekeeping Operations Manager at Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas. He also held positions including, Assistant Executive Housekeeping Manager, Hotel Operations Manager, and Front Desk Supervisor at Caesars Entertainment.
