More Vegas, More Experiences: Hyatt Enters Long-Term Licensing Agreement with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas today announced a long-term licensing agreement to make the iconic luxury property on the Las Vegas Strip bookable through Hyatt channels, including Hyatt.com and the World of Hyatt mobile app, in the near future. Soon, World of Hyatt members and eligible meeting and event planners will be able to earn and redeem loyalty points on qualifying stays, earn credit toward the Brand Explorer Award and, for World of Hyatt elite members, enjoy additional on-property benefits. Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, announced its first contract under the recently reintroduced SOAR (Supporting Ownership Access and Representation) program, designed to create hotel ownership opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs. Damon Healey of Eternal Companies, a real estate investment and asset management firm, executed a contract to convert two hotels in Georgia to Suburban Studios, one of Choice's four extended stay brands. The pair of properties opened on May 30.
